Quezon City

Former Quezon City Mayor Ismael Mathay and former Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte signed the sister city memorandum in 1994.

As symbols of progression in different regions of the country, Quezon City and Davao City renewed the sister city agreement on June 27 2018, signed by former Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.

With this pact in effect, both local economies will experience growth in opportunities and income that could help businesses and workers.

Environmental protection and community development are also the priority of these two cities.

Davao City Mayor Sara expressed that she looks forward to learning more about the improvement of Public Health Services from Quezon City.

Tourism

Be in awe of the thriving Quezon City, the largest land area in Metro Manila, as it houses numerous landmarks, urban attractions, and historical sites for tourists to discover.

Famous tourist attractions include Art In Island, Quezon City Memorial Circle, and La Mesa Ecopark. Art in Island features creatively made 3D illusory crafts. The Quezon City Memorial Circle is considered to be the last lung of Metro Manila because of the luscious trees that surround the park. While a lot of skyscraper buildings outstand each other in the heart of Quezon City, the La Mesa Ecopark stands as the last rainforest of the metro.
