At a dinner hosted by the City Government of Davao, the Kalumon Performing Ensemble performed Mindanaoan songs and dances to entertain the new Philippine Ambassadors.

The dinner was held last December 9, 2022, following the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Economic Diplomacy Program (EDP) Town Hall session at the Waterfront Insular Hotel Davao. The event was organized by the City Government of Davao through the Davao City Investment Promotion Center (DCIPC) and the City Tourism Operations Office (CTOO).

Some ambassadors joined the dancers on stage, demonstrating their revelry and appreciation for Kalumon.

Newly-appointed Philippine Ambassador to Indonesia, H.E. Gina Alagon Jamoralin expressed her gratitude to the local government of Davao and said that she enjoyed the performances, adding that they may someday bring Kalumon to their assigned countries to perform and promote the country and Mindanao.

Seventeen newly appointed Philippine Ambassadors attended the Davao City leg of DFA’s EDP.
