Attracting more Canadian businesses to locate and do business in Davao City is the primary aim of the DCIPC and Canadian Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (CanCham) in the jointly organized Online Roadshow dubbed the Panel Discussion on Trade and Investment Opportunities in Davao and Wider Mindanao.

Scheduled for November 30, 8:00 P.M. Canada Time, or December 01, 9:00 A.M. Philippine Time, the online activity will be attended by representatives from the Embassy of Canada in the Philippines, Davao local businesses, and Canadian business representatives.

The panelists for the activity include DCIPC Officer-in-Charge April Marie C. Dayap and IASU Head Mr. Christian Cambaya, who will discuss investment opportunities and doing business in Davao City; Canadian Embassy Vice Consul Katrin Gosselin who will talk about trade cooperations and potential collaborations with Davao City; PA of the Eastern Mindanao Command Maj. Vincent Cavanas (MI) who will discuss peace and order and security in the Davao Region; and Mr. Raymond Esperat of Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) who will discuss trade and business opportunities in Mindanao.

By reaching more Canadian businesses and raising awareness regarding the advantages of setting up businesses and investments in Davao and Mindanao, the city can expect a rise in Canadian firms and investments in the coming years.
