Davao City ranked 4th in the recently held Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness Index. Davao remains as the only city outside of the National Capital Region (NCR) to make it in the top 5. The municipalities and cities were ranked according to four pillars: (1) Government Efficiency, (2) Economic Dynamism, (3) Infrastructure, and (4) Resiliency.
