Czech businesses attend forum in Davao

Twenty-five Czech business leaders and seven members of the Czech parliament, including the Deputy Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, were in Davao City last February 16, 2023, to attend the very first Czech Davao Business Forum held in Dusit Thani Hotel.

Czech Ambassador to the Philippines Jana Sediva and key officials from the Embassy worked closely with the Davao City Investment Promotion Center (DCIPC) and the Davao City Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (DCCCII) to organize the business forum. Czech Chamber of Deputies Deputy Speaker Jan Skopecek opened the event.

DCIPC Officer-in-Charge Ms. April Marie C. Dayap, Councilor Bernie Al-Ag, Coun. Marissa Abella and leaders in Davao’s business scene were also present.

After a presentation of investment opportunities in Davao City, a business matching was held to encourage the exploration of partnerships among the Czech and Davao participants.
