On April 13, 1983, the Koror State Constitution was ratified. 

Gov. Yositaka Adachi signed an executive order on Sept. 24, 2009, stated that the Koror State has traditionally celebrates Constitution Day on Oct 21 of each year. He further stated that if Oct 21 falls on a Sunday, Monday or Tuesday, the Constitution Day holiday will be observed and celebrates on Monday. But if it falls on a Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday, the Constitution Day holiday will be observed and celebrated on Friday.

The KSG Constitution Day celebration started on Oct. 21, 1983.

Jellyfish Lake

Believe it or not, tourists may plunge into the Jellyfish Lake in Koror. Locals say that this lake is around 12,000 years old and the jellyfish that lived here have adapted to a point that they didn’t need their stingers to hunt any prey. Because no algae is present in the lake, they also didn’t need their stingers which is why tourists would love to swim with the golden and moon jellyfish.

Milky Way

Living up to its name, tourists will enjoy plunging into the Milky Way because of its therapeutic white mud that will give them a youthful appearance. It is called Milky Way because of its appearance from afar.

The Zimao Mountain is the famous mountain in the whole city. Rising 517.8 meters above sea level, the mountain is covered in purple clouds and what attracts tourists are the stone carvings that come from different dynasties.
